With pride and gratitude, Your welcome.
I’d do it again, if they would let me.

On behalf of all of us over here who either called to serve, or volunteered and signed on the dotted line, thank you.
On the day I’ll be going to Madingley American cemetery, just outside Cambridge, to ‘see’ Lt Thomas A Foley 8AAC, and Cpl John H Foley Jnr. Tom is listed as MIA on the Wall of Remembrance , and John is buried along with the 3600 other Americans who never went home.
No relations, except by name, but it’s a little pilgrimage I make at least once a years on Memorial Day, July 4th or November 11.
Bless them all.

Memorial Day starts the Summer season. We should not forget it is a time to remember those who gave their lives. Although a Revolutionary War Monument in our nation’s first capital, Philadelphia, I think it appropriate for all who made the ultimate sacrifice. Ralph

The basis for Memorial Day should be carried out daily, not just saluted on one or two days a years… Saluting all veterans, current military members, and fututre members and their familys…
I went to the ceremony at the cemetery here. Sadly, it was sparsely attended. Makes you wonder.

Thanks to all hear that have served and are still serving!

Here! Here! Thanks to all veterans & currently serving personnel.
(Great picture Ralph: a great reminder, that monument. Thanks for posting!)
…
Our Remembrance Day up here is on Nov 11, BTW.
And on behalf of all of us that for whatever reason, didn’t serve, we also respect and express our gratitude for your service.
