Many thanks for the post Tac. I did not spot the post from Paul (Spamcan) in the other place so I am grateful. Well, it might be in the same county but it is over 80 miles from here and knowing UK roads in rural areas you will appreciate that a journey to London (250 miles) is easier. lol

If LSC Members wonder why a person calls himself Spamcan then I will mention that it is a soubriquet for a certain British 4-6-2 Pacific loco.

Thanks for pointing out my error Tac. I have amended my post.

They say always do what you first think of and that was to write pacific. For some reason, a senior one maybe, I decided to put the wheel arrangement

The models [16mm British GR scale] can be found by looling the L&B thread on www.gscalecentral.co.uk site - and look particularly toothsome. David Bailey’s beautiful gas/col-fired models are a trifle [ahem] dollar-heavy, to use a trader term, but are magnificent scale models in every way. The impending AccuCraft [UK] model will be a stunner.

The scenary in the locale of the L&B is very beautiful, and it is amazing t othinkg that there was no foresight in the minds of those responsible for ripping it up back in 1935. The same goes for the Leak & Manifold Railway in stafforshire - the hilly scenes there are very Tolkein-ish. Sadly there was even movie film of one of the locos ‘A E Calthrop’ hauling the tie-ripper behind it as it was made to destroy its own track…v sad.

Anyhow, enjoy the clips!!
