I’m starting to muck around with the rock panels to see how the loop might look with view blocks in place. Really need to get cranking on casting some more so I’m ready for summer.

Congratulations on first loop! That is a huge milestone! Nothing moved the Triple O from dirt pit to garden faster than seeing trains actually cut their little circles in our yard!

Looks great! I’m still miffed on how you guys hide the locomotive “pull string” in those videos?
Dang you got me beat on the first complete lap around the layout. Congrats and looking forward to seeing that pile of rock get shoveled up!

Can you even make a loop on yours? Or is it an out , rearrange and send locomotive bass ackwards ( long hood forward) back to starting point ?
My is out and back but right now it’s out and nothing else.

Spring earthworks kicked off last weekend. For whatever reason it was a dry winter so I chanced my luck borrowing the neighbours tractor to shift the big pile of dirt that was in the way.
I took the opportunity to shift some mulch into the top loop - I’ll get some shrubs in there at some stage.

You waiting 4 months to finally posting SEASON 2 of the Flaxton Creek Railway build was like watching NETFLIX. I just had to re-binge season 1.
Looking forward to finding out if the latex shortage cliff-hanger of season one has been solved.
You’re gonna have wait for that reveal Bill (meaning I haven’t even looked yet…).
OTOH, I can confirm the FCR mantrap has been set and buried - waiting for any unnamed and unsuspecting Northern hemisphere visitors…

I needed some of that on the weekend, started setting out some boxcars for a visitor coming for a look, and they blew over about 5 times before I gave up. NO trains ran…
