Flatcar Loads -- Trashed Toy to Treasured Car

Someone, perhaps Todd (@capecodtodd ) had suggested using battered toy construction equipment to make loads. Kid-zilla and discussed then dropped the project…or so I thought.

Towards the end of the school year, he obtained a batterd 1:24-ish scale sportscar, complete with scratched windows, faded paint, and, in some places, scratched an removed paint. He carefully disassembled it, prepped it for , masked it, did some minor detail painting, and voila! A bit of timber, @David_Marconi_FOGCH 's old flat car (your Dad’s generosity in action, @David_Jr !), and the Triple O has some sweet American muscle to pull along the line!

He did the prep, the masking, and the finishing. I helped him remove a few smudges. Gentlemen, he has learned well from you! I am only sorry I don’t have any “before shots.” It was in bad shape!
