If you need this explained to you, you are probably not old enough to play with trains.
I know who she was.
But I don’t get the joke.
Please explain.
Tony, the program was The HoneyMooners, and Ralph was always threatening Alice with “Bam, Zoom right to the moon”. I’m sure there is a web site somewhere that has the recordings of the shows. Nick Jr
I knew it was the Honeymooners.
I also know that the Honeymooners was a popular TV show that I never watched after the first couple of episodes.
I am afraid I don’t understand or appreciate that sort of humour.

I think I heard that door slam, again. Yessir, I’m sure of it.
I’m sure it is axiomatic that humor is a learned perversity, tempered by geography.
“To the moon, Alice. Right to the moon.”
My Aussie-born wife is a big fan of British comedy, and I’ve watched the TV shows she likes from time to time. Some of it I enjoy - for example, just about anything with John Cleese or Geoffrey Palmer in it. Some of it leaves me wondering why Kay is laughing.
I can understand why people from a British background might view American humour askance. For me, though, that cartoon was REALLY funny!
Like I said, Dave, humor is a learned perversity, tempered by geography. We do not even spell it the same way!
Speaking of British Humor, lest we forget Benny Hill. Nick Jr
WGN has the Honeymooners on at 9 Eastern on Sunday nights. 2 shows. Makes me laugh.
Geee was just watching the Honeymooners with SWMBO just the other night…
I think my parents watched a little too much of the Honeymooners.
