Richard …
My condolences for the recent disaster on the P&OC at Davis Slough.
Should you need anyone from the track or B&B department at the Slate Creek, we’re here to help.

Of course things could be worse… I’m not sure which would be more frightening… the ride across the bridge that this train appears to have just taken (anyone else do that double take?), or attempting to make the locomotive fit between the rope railings…

…get them durn guard rails installed you lazy SOB…grin…
Hahaha! At least we know my bridge & trestle work are prototypical! Hmmmm! Wonder how they got theirs so much straighter than mine?
Matthew you are evil! and Fred, no need for guard rails now is there?
Update! Even now the POC’s entire two man B&B gang is “thinking” about repairs on the collapsed portion of the trestle!
“Well Clem, wonder if we should get that guard rail installed now?”

Well, now, not every trestle demands guard rails. Voila! On the WP&Y Route.
Hmmmmmm. Is that white ball a UFO?
I have been trying to work out why such superb workmanship has produced so few comments . I think , Richard , that they are lost for words . Like I was .

Do you suppose that is what took out the trestle? Wonder if it was lasar or GPS guided?

I should have picked up on the poster’s name right away as I love to play with names myself.
