Large Scale Central

First track on the CCRR

No bridge ties on the bridges or trestles…no guard rails on the bridges or trestles…a lot of nice work; but why not do it correctly…?
PLEASE TAKE THESE COMMENTS in a constructive tone…

ARGH!

Maybe he doesn’t want to handlay track on the trestles? Its 3000 % easier to put sectional or flex on a bridge than it is to handlay the track on it.

Phawther Phred. I thot these WERE ties! That’s those wooden sticks on either side of the plastic sticks, giving one an option of hand spiking rail if one wishes.

John,
Very nice job on the bridges and trestles. If you’re not doing something right, I must be really doing something wrong!
Ralph

WOW, that’s some darned nice work! Have to go cover up my trestles now. Jerry

Took my bachman connie around this layout. Quite nice. I really liked the ties on the briges and the hand rails added that “just perfect” touch of realism. Nice job. Although, some water barrels would look good on the long trestles. Here is a word of caution, when you go around stump town look out for drunken Irish. I ran in to one. The rest of them came running out of the stump and over took my loco. The little buggers turned it into a still. So very becareful very going around John’s lay out. Very, very, careful.

John,

The layout looks great.
