I feel you pain, Dave. Right now, it is 0900, PDT, 32F, no snow, but it was threatened last night with sleet. The temp on rising at 0600 was 23F. Of course, I am at 2600 Ft ASL, so I guess some allowances are necessary. No spring flowers, yet, no song birds, either.
My daughter lives at a more normal altitude of 600 ft, and she says that spring is in full bloom.
09:45 44ºF, nice sunshine. Spring has sprung!
44??? That’s just a mild winter…
Beautiful day here in northeast FLORIDA! It hit around 75ºF this afternoon so I got out and ran a freight train, a passenger train and a MOW train on the HDRR for about 3 hours.
Hoping you have a Very Green Spring!
Well we had to “endure” another 78F here, most everything is in bloom.
Today (21st.) is usually considered the first day of Spring in the UK. A couple of showers but otherwise a sunny day but with a strong breeze.
Magnolia trees and cherry tress are in full bloom as are daffodils and other spring flowers.
The weather station reports a temperature 49F, QNH of 1007 Mb, and winds up to 23 mph.
The “Tresses” here are still dormant…!!
