I was putting off the upgrade to Firefox 3.0.1 because of some rumored problems. I failed to explain this to teh family and they accepted the upgrade, so I’m now on 3.0.1

Before the upgrade, once a forum index page would load, I’d get a little blink like the page re-composed. It was noticeable, but no big deal.

Now, with 3.0.1 each time I navigate to a different forum, FF briefly displays the page as text only. A few seconds later the graphic representation of the page is displayed. This is very weird.

I’ve never noticed the before or after phenomenon on any other site.

FF 3.0.1 seems to be quite a bit slower too. Anyone else on the new version and seeing any problems ?

Yep. Same thing here. Not sure if I’m ready for Chrome. :wink:

Yea, Jon I see the same thing everytime I change forums…wierd, but not a problem

Thanks for confirming I’m not completely nuts :slight_smile: It’s not a big deal, just weird.

We aren’t confirming whether you were nuts or not, just that we saw the same thing…:wink:

I don’t have that problem with the latest Firefox. But I have other problems. Buggy. I wish I hadn’t upgraded. I have three other computers and a laptop that I won’t be upgrading for now.

Oh goodie, it isn't just me. No need to hold a vote on my sanity. It disappeared some time ago, and I've given up looking for it.

Other than what Jon described, it’s been error free. It doesn’t affect the loading any. And mine only displays the “text” for less than a second.

Yea, FF3.x seems to delay loading the CSS for the website. Not sure if its broken on my end or theirs. Google does say its an issue. Hmm
