Large Scale Central

Finished my observation

With the compleation of my observation car my pass set is now a full train. Changed the tail end roof line and rear light is now a red LED. Drumhead does light. This leaves me with an FA and FB to redo to complete all that I have on hand. And, I have an eye on future additions of baggage and coaches. Maybe an extra observation for a second train. That looks great and it will look nice alongside the station.

Looks great Dave. I almost missed this thread. The last couple of days the New Posts have been disappearing after I read a few.

Dave,
You might consider an E-8 nose for your FA unit, makes it look more streamlined. Rex Ammerman usually has a few extra ones. Others cut them off to make B units also. I used one that Marty had, you can see it in the June issue of GR and on the cover.

Jerry is that who you got your noses for double sided E8? I wanted to try that project myself.

Very nice job Dave. You’ll have a great looking train when it’s all put together.

They would look good behind an E-8…cheap at Trainworld right now. Ralph

$329 is cheap??? Not in my wallet

Thanks for the feedback all. I think if I decide to change locos for this train I’ll more than likely go for a PA-B-B-A set up from USA much classier than the E-8 IMHO

Is $199.99 cheap enough ;) The e-mail came Tuesday. Could be sold out by now. http://archive.constantcontact.com/fs025/1102543198138/archive/1103414445647.html

Hollywood…
I like the PA’s too. Anna(Al) Kramer on eBay has had the A-B set as cheap as $225 in the past couple months or so.
A deal I should have jumped on.
Ralph

Nice work Hollywood

So, how much is first class drawing room fare on the “Free Ride”?
