Today was my official first day as a non-paying member at another LS Train site, after countless reminder renewal emails, I was able to withstand the draw to further censoring and brow-beating (I mean if I’m gonna get beat up, I’d much rather have you guys do it!)

I have no plans of a funding stop here on LSC.

been there, done that. It was not an amicable split, with the moderator of the site sending me several very abusive personal emails. The site owner’s response was I do not care what he emails to you as long as it is kept out of the forum. On the surface the site seems like a friendly little arena. Once one 'gets under someones skin then it becomes a very bitchy affair. Seems like the moderator prefers his members to know less than he does to make him feel good about himself - self esteem problem no doubt! He felt that I knew too much about everything, with 1800 postings, with at least 75% in the model making section, with detailed ‘how-to’ photographs and explanation - all now gone to God.
'Idler' pulley does not seem to know what is going on (even though I explained the circumstances to him - copies of all email correspondence from members and moderators goes directly through the site owner's computer), as nearly 18 months later I am still getting renewal notices. I will never go back there while a certain person is supposedly in charge.Feel free to repost all yer How Tos with photos and explanations over here!!!

Oh how well I remember the day back in 2003 when I asked “Idler” for the return of my US$20 on my Gold Membership since he wasn’t living up to his word. My impertinence 
knew no bounds since I posted it in an “Open Letter to Shad” on MLS (March 19th 2003). In my book that was a very good day!

the site in question is an excellent site as long as one agrees with everything said. As soon as one has a difference of opinion with the upper echelon of the hierarchy, then he is on the outer. The moderator stifles any real discussion on hot topics, preferring more of a class room teacher method of control.
LSC is by far, an excellent site for those who want to do more than simple chitty chat and want to find out more about their hobby, plus have a bit of a chin wag as well.I lurked for over a year both here and at “the other” forum. I only joined LSC. There is a fine bunch of friendly people here.

I pay here for the space…I’ve migrated all over and began using LSC full time for hosting a bump or so ago…Much easier to use (for me) and I like Bob much better!
