A special bulk purchase of an outstanding locomotive offers you the opportunity to own a N&W Class A locomotive at a bargain price. There is only 1 left from the group purchase that is being offered either in “as is electric” or converted to live steam (3 units on the schedule).
I hate to ask this, but what is the minimum practical radius for operation?
Thanks, Greg
Another question not to ask is how much is it? IF you have to ask, you can’t afford it. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-frown.gif)
Well, it sure looks pretty. But I know its too much locomotive for my railroad, in length, weight, pulling power, min curve radius (diameter) and financing.
Thank the gods i run narrow gauge. otherwise i’d have to buy that!

Terry, I started out that way…I started…thats where I started. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)
So I should send a blank check?
I think I can afford it Jerry, just asking to see if I want it at the price.

Greg, Yes! Send a check for whatever it takes, and stipulate that you want the live steam version. I think it’s time you take the plunge and start burning your fingers, and not just with those cigars!(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
I’d love to see you develop a real interest in live steam and start a whole new section on your site devoted to it. Not to mention that is one beautiful machine that ought to be run the way the real thing was built. It would make a real nice and exciting intro in to live steam for you. Huhm, using DCC to control a live steam loco…
