It was a beautiful Indian Summer day in Connecticut on Friday. I had the day off so I decided to run some trains and take a lot of video. I filmed this on my phone and edited in Movie Maker. The video is 25 minutes long and features some wide shots that show more of the layout than my usual close-up stills. Lots of extra noises from me bumping the tripod, construction down the street and the never ending leaf blowers.
The video features a Mixed Train tribute to the EBT. My tribute train lacks a powerful Mikado and an EBT coach, but it’s close with a wood box car, 5 coal hoppers and a coach. This 2 loco, 7 car train is too long to turn on my wye, so an interesting two section move was made to turn the train.
