Ralph, railroad looks great… guess the cleanup worked…
Ralph nice yo see the R up and running again. 5 months is way too long to go without running trains Ralph. I agree about the roadbed free floating. Look what mine went through this year and I didnt have to rebalest or level anything.
Looking good Ralph. Today would have been perfect to run trains here, mostly sunny and almost 70 degrees. I got the RR clear of leaves early enough in the day, but didn’t quit the leaf clean-up until nearly dark.
Today I finally got to run a train Here are some pictures from the first run for Cheesy Sound Car Ver 3. which now includes on-board battery and R/C…

Great shots Jon…Your getting that camera figured out quite well!
BTW…Ralph…I noticed that your moss has taken hold and spread quite nicely…I need some myself
Nice photos guys! I’ve been pretty much rained out here. Even getting mushrooms growing alongside the tracks. Too bad I don’t know which ones are good to eat!
Thanks for the inspirational scenes.
David Russell said:It's getting better, but still far from the what I'd like to get. Today I took over 200 shots. At least 50 were complete throw-aways. This winter I need to study up on manual settings. I'd like to force a smaller aperture to get more depth-of-field. I kind of know how to do it, but need to familiarize myself with what all the numbers mean.

Jon,
The pictures look very good. Remind me of which camera you have.
Since I never get anything I want for Christmas, I just ordered a new 16MP Digital camera for myself.
Fuji Ultra Compact with 5x optical zoom.
Ralph
The camera is a Cannon EOS Rebel Xti SLR with a Tamaron 18-260mm zoom lens. My old camera was a Fuji S700Z I think. It rarely took a bad picture. I auto mode this one takes both really great ones and really bad ones, depending mostly on lighting. I get a lot of blurred pictures due to longer exposures. Part of my problem is probably how I have the metering set up. I need to revisit that in the manual .
Bringin’ the pictures to this page, just for Rooster…

When ya keep’em in the dark and feed’em s**t then they’re OK to eat…

Okay Dave & Ken, I’ll jus’ slip 'em in an envelope and mail 'em to you. Good luck! hehehe! COD though…just in case.
Send’em to Dave, I got enough of’em around here. They grow’em behind my house and I haul truckloads of the little s**t bubbles down to FL all the time…

See those white buildings behind the trees, that’s where they grow’em…this neck of the woods is called “The Mushroom Capital of the World”…
Jon great shots. That new area of rocks is a great spot for pictures.
Lovely pics Jon. I gather you have a good camera.
Two of my favorite names appear: RS3 and Western Maryland.
