Fall Run

Jerry, how did you get that url?

When I clicked on your url, I was taken to your youtube page. When I right clicked on the displayed video, I got this… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xGbdDCHArw&feature=player_profilepage

You will have to put the cursor on the blue url, and then look in the lower left hand corner of this screen to get the full url, I guess.

When surrounded by the tags , I got this…

Steve, the link you put up is just the opening video of my you tube page, the one everyone sees when they first enter. The code I put up in the other email is of the video I would like to put up. Can you use that url, and show me with that. I will try again, so you are saying just put and it should work??? Let me try it again here.

Well that is the link to the video I want to embed here, and for some reason it doesn’t work??? I just bookmarked the video I want and then put in your brackets and then drug the link over and put the end brackets, and it doesn’t work. See what you think??? Thank for your help I appreciate it. Regal

Ok Steve, got it, for some reason when I put the link from my youtube page in bookmark it won’t come up, but when I put in the link on the universal or what everyone see’s it work’s??? Go Figure anyways I have it now, and thanks a bunch for your help. Same thingy happens if I want the window to come up on Facebook, the only way to do it is to upload to livestream, then clik on the facebook share button there, and then it embed’s the video on facebook any other way it just puts a link in there, and most people will not click on a link but will on a video window, that they can see what they are about to view. Thanks again Regal

I’ll try another one in another window after this to make sure. Everything is easy peasey when you learn how to do it finally but when you don’t know and are just learning, it’s a pain, and a mountain to climb. LOL

Here is a video of my k-27 after extensive tweaks, and repairs this week, runs splendidly now, had to do a couple adjustments on the curve going into the tunnel and the first one after coming out of it. Also around the back fence too. Ballasting and leveling one of my most favorite aspects of the outdoor railroad “NOT” !! Thanks again Steve think i’ve got it now. Regal

p.s. that pounding in the background some have asked me how I go the chuff so loud, LOL, its the workman putting up this un-godly big obtrusive water tower, you can view that on Facebook under my wall pics. They are pounding and welding from 6:30am till 5:30pm everyday 1/2 day on Saturdays. Be glad when done, its in my back yard, and if it falls in any direction it will wipe out 3-4 blocks of anything in it’s way. Seriously Regal

Went lookin for a “Fall Run” topic to post a few pictures. Found this one, but low & behold, the links are all bad or dead :open_mouth: My GRR is stll covered in weeds. So I did a little travlin to run trains. Went to see the “Bridge Man”, Daniel Peck. The weather was great, and Daniel broke out a few of his locomotives for us.

Nice pictures. A friend of mine just bought the Mallet. Nice looking engine. I cant do any running until the leaves stop falling. Everytime I blow them off the layout the winds start up Ugh.

Ha Ha, Good thing you had a captive audience all those years in the fire house :D

I do see 2 pictures a little fuzzy. I didn’t see it in the originals. I uploaded the pictures to my netbook
and used a different image resizer than usual.
So, either the resizer mucked them up, or I posted the wrong photos

No problem. I can ship one of the body shells back to you ;)

I think I’m going to paint one F40 in the C&O blue and yellow.

My rusted color bridge been out for over 5 years now and looks as good as day one… Enjoy the Vist and it gave me time to do some running. Got more projects in the shop now so running time will have to stop for me. :frowning:
