Fall foliage with my old 35mm film camera

I pulled out the old 35mm film camera and took a few photographs around my home last week.

Nice pics of the fall colors, but where’s the trains?

I have an indoor layout, but MAY have to add an outside loop. ;-)

Nice pictures. Amazing you are only 1.5 hours south of me and my area looked like that over three weeks ago. Now we have mostley bare trees.

How’s that basement layout coming along?

It is now time to put the lawn mower away and start the "landscaping" indoors on my RR. I have been taking pictures all summer of terrain I want to mimic. Having never done an indoor (or outdoor for that matter) railroad before, I am doing a lot of research as I go.

Here’s a photo I took with a digital camera three or four years ago at Island Lake (northeast of Sault Ste. Marie), Ontario on my way to my brother-in-laws place. The track belongs to the Algoma Central which runs excursion trains. Never ridden on it myself.
