experience with scanner/printer da Vinci 1.0 AiO?

anybody got experience with scanner/printer da Vinci 1.0 AiO?

my wife bought a combined scanner and printer for me.

is there anybody, who could give me specific hints or advice on that thing?

Someone said Amazon sold them, might look there and read the reviews at the bottom.

Guy on MLS likes them.

This is the writers second review. His first was praise but subsequent testing resulted in this critique.

Jerry,

bought mine from Amazon.

got a dedicated PC for that thing … and now these two don’t work together well.

i managed to calibrate the platform (that was not easy - starting with cannibalizing a screw from somewhere else, to replace one missing set-screw)

and i managed to print two samples. - very satisfying results.

found some interesting objects on the da vinci website, tried to print one… stuck!

that stubborn program insists, that i have to configurate a printer first.

the software-disc (about the single assesory, that was not missing) does not explain how to do that.

now i’m waiting till the holy-days are over, to try to contact that company.

Ross,

thank you. that will be my next read after sending this post.

Nice to see you back up and running Korm…

back up - yes

running - not yet…

i read those reviews. lots of things to find out, once i got hard- and software running.
