I’m always impressed how steel handles the forces of tension. The number of small boulders sitting gone top of the track are a testament to its strength.

In one of my books, there is a photo of a track speeder going over a washout just like that. That takes some very large cajones!

looked for that picture all over the place in my book stack and still did not find it. I thought it was Logging Railroad in the West, but it wasn’t it. Will dig deeper.
