Since those user agreement changes were obviously written by lawyers, what do they really mean?
Doug,
Doesn’t look like much to me.
Unless you “opt out”, you agree to arbitration in any disputes with eBay.
Unless you “opt out”, you give up your right to participate in any “class action lawsuit”.
I have my doubts this is enforcable.
If you “opt out”, you agree to file your suit in Salt Lake City, Utah. I also doubt this part is enforcable.
You agree to let them contact you by phone, and allow the conversation to be recorded.
Well, they can talk to my answering machine any time they wish
Ralph
Oh great another idot using the telephone to harass the law abiding people. Just what the world needs, more “out of area” telephone calls.
Paul
We only use the house phone for the conputer so they can call all they want!
I’m annoyed with the new format. Search for something and it SAYS there’s a couple thousand matches, but you can only VIEW 2 pages…
If they want to pizz off customers that’s a great way to do it.
They must be learning from Facebook!

I’ve not had this problem, Mik.
After reading your post, I tried several searches. None limited me to viewing two pages.

Personally Ive stopped selling on Ebay as their fees have climbed up to almost 20% with Paypal fees.

Ralph Berg said:Exactly what I do. Figure out what I want...Add 15%...List for free. I sell about 80% of what I list the first time, almost always sell if I re-list. If I list it on LSC it is always minus the 15%.Jason Kovac said:A consignment shop now charges 50-60%. I simply factor the eBay fees into the price. I have my default at 200 listings/page, where is yours set… perhaps it just a problem with that? 200 per is really needed when you’re search for something like a specific decal…
Mik said:I'm set at 50 per page............ So you may be correct. I've not tested for anything that popped up thousands of results. Ralph
