Evening run on the Rio Chama

We had a pre-open house run this evening. Everything ran great

Of course it did, there wasn’t a crowd around. Murphy doesn’t show up until there are a lot of on-lookers.

That’s what happened on my last Tour. Everything worked perfect the morning before the bus showed up then all of a sudden the locomotive would derail on the first curve from the depot. Nothing I did would correct it so I just stood at that curve and bumped it back on the track and waited for it to come around again.

Oh, Murphy plays that game with other folks too? Thats nice to know.

Ain’t that the truth! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cry.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-yell.gif)

If this helpful:

Murphy married the Mother of Invention. Measure once cut twice is a consequence.

Something strange happened overnight on Bob’s layout that foiled the open house the next day. I have temperature changes as the only explanation I could create to explain a similar event with the same time sequence.

Really nice looking layout, Bob.

Well Murphy made a visit last night. Everything operating great then all of a sudden a major side rod issue brought everything to a stop. It looked bad but fixed easy. I was close to not running again till the tour on Friday but something told me to make a few runs around just to be sure, man I’m glad I did.
