Large Scale Central

European Railroad indoors.

My European Railroad is all indoor. For one thing, I liked the idea of having an all Euro Railroad that could fit easily in a basement and run with little to no fuss. One that I could spend literally hours detailing. About the only thing my railroad does not have is real snow. You see, I modeled my Euro Rail after a modern Austrian/German Federal Railroad. Incorporating the modern Electric Taurus locomotives and at least one ICE Train Set. Between dusting the buildings with snow and having Pines dusted with snow, the set looks like a typical alpine village near a skiing resort. Which, ironically, is what I was after. Oh I could expand it to run outdoors one day, but realized I wanted my very own Euro Railroad that looked like a small miniature snow globe. Around Christmas, it is very cheerful to look at and I only wish my mother was still alive to see it as she loved snow globes.

We have a saying around here: No Pictures, then it didn’t happen…

Yep, that’s the saying and many of us are grateful that many times pictures aren’t taken. Some have been successfully used as black mail.

But pictures also do sometime help explain and tell the story.

Blackmail??? Who would do such a thing?..

like they said.

pics are worth a thousand words each - and no spellcheck necessary…

'yay, Korm - OT - did our friend turn up yet?

Who are they pointing at???

Ken and buddy are clearly pointing at the right-hand edge of the photo frame.

Even a klutz like ME can see that.

My 3D perception tells me they’re clearly pointing at something/someone behind and to the right of the photo frame. This one needs a “follow up” picture.

Why? The saying goes “when you point at someone you have three fingers pointing back at yourself”, but they carefully avoided that.

The point of the picture was to remind you some times photo’s can come back…

Nice work digging that one up Sean - but there are better ones out there. Keep browsing those directories :]
