Dan its OK to highjack the stone thread. It will help give everyone ideas on what the stone can be used for. Im thinking about stealing that stone foundation for my new engine house. I really like the way it looks.
Shawn im having a heck of a time posting pictures. I think it is in how i am naming them. Thanx for the comments your railroad is awsome.

OOh, what a great idea. I have a couple of spots that would work great in. Off to the store!
Great looking building - love the finish on that stove. Nice idea for the foundation…I think I have a place I can use that.
I need to pour several concrete bridge abutments. The stone will work great to give it that old, shortline look
Beautiful job on the engine house. Is this built for outdoor use? If so, I assume you take them indoors when not running?
Ralph
Ralph everything i build is glued with Tite Bond III and nailed. All the roofs are plexi with styrene ribs to shed water. Built to stay outside but with all the small details inside and out i would recomend a cover of some kind for the nice months and bring them in for the winter. I am thinking of starting a small business to support my railroad needs selling the structures and details or trading for 1.20 freight cars, engines and track. I build most of the details in my shop and cut all my own stripwood. Being a carpenter i have a endless supply of wood .
Thank you for the photo info Joe.
