End doors on early D&RG RR Boxcars?

Hi,

I am building some of the early 24 foot long D&RG RR boxcars: classed as 10 Ton Class 3 - the Standard Boxcar of 1881, as built.

My question is – did all of them have the small end door close to the roof on the non-brake end?

Some certainly did; its just a question so I can have some variety

Pete, drop me an email. I designed a set of kits for most of these 24’ cars some years ago, based on original drawings.
