I have sprayed Krylon clear over my vinyl lettering I bought from Del. It’s been outside since 2007; no ill effects. It looks just as good as the day I put it out.

Hmm…I’ve never used the Floquil stuff, so I have no idea about that.
Floquil paints are not UV resistant and will fade within a year. Small details and the glue that holds them will also dry out and fall off.

I repaired and re-painted this freight station with an air-brush and Floquil paints each year for two years. After switching to Krylon spray paints, everything including the colour is holding up well. A tin of Krylon is almost as cheap as a small bottle of Floquil which has been discontinued because of its toxic formula.
