I was looking through a MR (January 2004) issue. I noticed an advertisement from Hornby on a 00 Gauge Mallard engine that uses no naked flame, flammable spirit or Butane, just electricity. It heats the water with an electrical heating element and runs for 20-35 minutes.
Now if Hornby can make a safer live steam engine in OO/HO scale and run it on smaller track than LS, why can we not have the same in LS using our .332 track and larger power supplies?
Seems to be a natural for us for our outside railways.
