I have recently been doing some changes to my Edrig. such as paint, name plates, lining Before-

Now-

I still have more things to do to it, as soon as i can find some steel the right thickness then i shall make some new buffer beams. and later in the year taking it all to bits and cutting it up to convert it to coal, altho i may try and buy a new chassis or whole new loco when i get the boiler, as the one i have now is very worn, but it keep on fighting.

Hi Tac

No, i am not getting a david bailey one.

A member at a local model engineering club is going to make me a boiler, and i shall do the rest.

Andrew, I am curious what the cost for the boiler will be and what all will be left for you to do. I also have wanted to convert a steamer to coal fired, but alas the DJB kits are nolonger avaible, and I cannot afford a Shawe/Roundhouse conversion. To bad it isnt easy to convert a RH Billy as it is supposed be conveting the Edrig. Would this gentleman be willing to build a second boiler? You can PM me off site if you wish. Mike

Hi Mike I am not sure how much the guy is going to charge me for the boiler, as he doesnt know yet. He has to re build a memebrs loco before he makes my boiler.

He is jsut going to make the boiler, with all bushes etc, then i buy all the parts to complete it. I may need to get a few from DJB.

I have emailed you about a second boiler.
