It’s coming quick. Who’s headed that way? Anyone have trades or sales to bring and unload? Anything special you’re looking for?
I’m looking to hang out this year. I have most everything I want. I like the layouts, hopefully there are a few new ones this year. I like the old but new is good too! For me, first time at the holodome, I can’t wait to talk to online friends over a few adult beverages.
On a side note, anyone have layouts open in the area?

I still have an RDC-1 to sell. I’ll post an ad in For Sale, Not sure if I’m staying overnight but I do plan to make the party Friday evening, Not planning on buying anything.
The Diesel Queen and I will be there on Friday. Hope to meet y’all (or is it “all y’all” for plural?) I might have a few items for sale. I should follow Jon’s lead and post them in “SALE Forum.” Looking forward to next Friday.

Ill be their Friday to hang out and run some live steam. Our club will also have their moduler up. Not planing to buy anything unless I see something I cant pass up like a good deal on an accucraft short caboose and some figures. Ill also be hanging out at night with everyone. Looking forward to it.

I’m planning on being there Friday unless the repairs to my truck exceed my train budget. I’m paying off my RDC purchase (not to Jon, sorry) picking up a couple show cars… my first reefers ever, and hopefully getting a deal on a second Bachmann Connie so I can begin construction of of my AG-2 class 2-8-0+0-8-2.
Depending on how much I can drum up, maybe a coach or two for my Office Car Special.
I will be there from Thursday through Saturday, hope to attend the Drag and Brag. Also the Pocono Mountain Garden Railway Society will be there with our modular layout for a second year. please stop by and say howdy partner.

Doug, Stu, and I are going down on Thursday, $pending Friday at the show, and driving home Saturday.
If you are looking for a Connie, there were only three there last year: one at $400, a second hand one for $250, and one I found too late in the afternoon buried in the back corner of a booth for $300. I bought the second hand one from a well known retailer who told me it was his and he had hardly run it. I should have had a good, long look at it. It had been given a very poor paint job, sloppy decaling, the drive gear was broken, and there was a broken screw in the gear case cap. LET THE BUYER BEWARE!
Paul, that would have been perfect for me. I’m looking to gut it any ways. I only need the operating chassis. After I got my first one, I really am looking forward to hacking them apart to build me my baby.
I almost wish I hadn’t designed the darned thing. I had originally only wanted the drawing for my story. Once I had colored the drawing, I fell in love with it… ugh I hate emotions. They are so blasted expensive!
