So my dad, my son and I are going to take our madian trip to the ECSCTS on Saturday. Both dad and I are on the verge of build our own railroads so we are looking forward to seeing what is at a show dedicated to Large Scale.
Now our question… How do people from just north of NYC area or Southern NE get to York?
Mapquest has us going the over the TZ bridge then going I-287 to I-78 to Rt 222 (212.5 Miles est time 5hr 50min) and Yahoo Maps has us going over the GW bridge to GSP to I-78 to Rt 222(206.3 Miles est time 3 hr 51 min)
While Virtual Earth and my GPS software have me go over GW bridge and taking the NJ Turnpike to Penn Turnpike to the Reading Interchange onto Rt 222 (212 Miles 3hr 28 min)
So the question to the experienced Road Warriors… Which is better: Taking I-78 to Rt 222, or, Taking the NJ Turnpike to Penn Turnpike to Rt 222?
(NOTE: Virtual Earth notes roadwork on Penn Turnpike between King of Prussia & Plymouth Meeting)
