Large Scale Central

ECLSTS 2012

I actually think there was more like 4-5 dozen, when we got there…

I’ll be there with the NHGRS and “Big Green”…same as always. You’ll be able to find me flying the little helis with Scott off of his helipad on the layout

Yeah well you and my boy did a good job of polishing them off!

Just a bit late for Roll Call, Sir.

I’ll be there late Wednesday, leaving Early Sunday morning…

Can I come?

Ask Ken for an invite…it’s his place…!!

Cool....... Ken bought the York Fair Grounds !!!!!

The event I was speaking of, is the GIANT party at Ken’s on Sunday, after the York event…where the cupcakes will be offered…Maybe Ken has purchased the fair grounds, on the hope that cupcakes will sell well there, but I hadn’t heard of that…!!

Looks like I’m going to miss the fun, after all :open_mouth:
Our foreign exchange student has an event that weekend.
Has to be dropped off on Friday and picked up Sunday.
It’s a 3 hour round trip, so I can’t really ask someone else to take care of it for me :frowning:
Ralph

Bummer!

You will be missed Ralph!

Thanks Rooster. I'm going to miss you guys too. I was looking forward to meeting Fred :) I've already talked to Shawn about making a trip up his way later in the year. Maybe I can catch you, Hollywood & Ken then. Ralph

Well, you'll have to go right by us in order to get to his place, so that'll work too.

Just pick a nice time to do it. My schedules pretty flexible…

Sorry you won’t get to the show Ralph. A later get together can be scheduled

Ralph, you will be missed… However, Illinois isn’t too far out of the way to get to Shawn’s…

Ralph, anytime.... :) always welcome.....

Kim sez we’re definitely not going (no money)… HOWEVER, if anybody from points West happen to be going past and want to stop and run trains I can get the track back in running shape! We’re only about 25-30 minutes south of I-80

Teach him the real "American Way" and let him find his own transportation. He's suppose to be here to learn, not be coddled like "foreign royalty".

:D He is a she ;) Unfortunately, it's a "mandatory" event, attendance being required by our Federal govt. They have several such mandatory events over the 10 month stay. The first such event she missed a family camping trip that had been planned well in advance. Fortunately. I was able to arrange her transportation so we didn't have to cancel the trip. Another required meeting, she missed a family event where 7 of our 8 children were home. I had planned on bringing her and my daughter to York with me and doing a little "sight seeing" with them. So there goes the American cutural experience ;) Ralph
