Strassburg will be running, but then you dislike steam !
Not true.....I just don't model it....I find the steam locos very interesting

OK I heard steam and rare mentioned. So I’m gonna make this my own challenge and take on both for my next MAJOR build. I may need assistance but I know where too look for it as LSC is the only sandbox I play in!

Now back on topic…you gentleman are welcome to bring your toys here to run on the CVRR Sunday after the show heading home. I’m very close too all major routes near Harrisburg/ north of York. Would be up for hosting a brunch/meal if you guys are interested?

Bruce, Ken, now David,

The ECLSTS excursions are getting to be a week long event. Which is fine, except that some of us still have jobs. As Spring approaches, we will have to see what can be worked out for this trip east. Thank you for the offer. Last year we visited 3 railroads on Sunday and it was really too much. Hardly had time to really enjoy any of them.

Brunch/Meal??? Deep Fried Rooster???

Ric,
I understand…just throwing the offer out there if anyone is interested. If not no feelings hurt on my end.
Andy,
I will be serving Pelican as I hear Ric is partial to them.

You don’t have to apologize to me, you’ve already seen mine. Dave’s is only a half hour away and more on your way to the turnpike. Whatever you decide is fine with me. Besides, Mechanicsburg reminds me of Carlyle…

Thank you Ken! I would be honored to have you guys here. No switching, just mainline....put them on and watch them run. Track power with 2 independent loops and charging facilities for the battery guys. 5,10,15 mins from the turnpike depending what on ramp you choose. Also I-81, RT 15, I-83 and 283. Many major routes intersect here. Only hope "Shorty" takes a wiz on somebody else's stuff this time. I will feed the crew well if I know whom is attending upon their trip home. Your choice guys ....my door is open if you wish to enter! ;)

I will be at York on Friday and already took that day off. Wish I could stay the extra day but tough with two little ones and 10 hour work days. Cant wait to meet everyone. Anyone passing by my area feel free to stop by and run a few loops on the KMRR.

Ric last year you wanted me to bring my Dunkirk you still want me to bring it this year?

OK…talked it over with SWMBO, decided we’re gonna take a crack at it again this year… Thinking we’ll leave after I get off work at 2200 Thursday night and how bout meeting everyone for breakfast on Friday morning?

I might be in for that>Diner style omlet’s or SOS with home fries and onions and corn beef hash
Who’s buying:)

Ric is!

We haven’t been to a ECLSTS show in a few years. I’d love to go this year!

Jon.

Well, since we have moved to the Show Hotel, they have a continental breakfast, so we had been skipping the Diner for breakfast… Saves a few more bucks for train stuff… However, there alway is the possibility of a one-time change…

I'm in ...what time and do I get to pick! Yocumtuckey off 83 has some spots.

There’s only one “Official Restaurant” in York. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, it’s the Starlight Diner.

So Andy - When did breakfast move to the Hotel? Must have started Saturday last year since I met you guys at the Starlight on Friday.

I can’t scrape together the bucks for an overnight, but I’ll put in for a personal day for Friday and see if I can’t do the ‘rapid return’ again this year. Not sure I can handle the 4+ hour drive after a drag & brag, but we’ll see.

Jon, I enjoy The “Starlight”, too… We did eat there Friday morning, but then Sat & Sun, we ate at the hotel…

If we are meeting friends then we go out to the “Starlight”, and eat breakfast there…

Uh oh… I just put in for Friday the 26th and noticed it’s the day after a pay day. Better sign over my check to the better half or I’ll end up leaving it in York :o

HEhehe I think I still owe ya $20 too don’t I?

I wasn't going to ask, but since you remembered :D

Jon,
What’s the daily interest rate compounded over 365 days equate too? Honestly sounds like Bart’s buying on Jon’s interest?
