I was just reading over the East Broad Top’s Website and saw where they have opened some track just south of the yard past the cemetary crossing. Has anyone road or know of how far they plan on opening up south of the yards to speeders. Myabe in the future we could see speeders ride all the way up to pogue bridge that would be a very nice little ride. I have never rode on a speeder but I hope to in the future. Just throwing my 2 cents in.

Yes we saw them running last year 2006. My wife took a ride, it cost $10.00 to ride.
Trying to figure out how to add pictures?
They seem to be clearing brush more each weekend, but I think the ride is currently around an extra 1/2 to 3/4 mile south. Ultimately, they’ll have to stop when they get to the grade crossing with PA994, as they won’t be able to dig the rails out from their “protective coating” of asphalt. This puts them well shy of Pogue trestle, but it’s still better than nothing.
