After 4 1/2 years, my East Broad Top #12 live steamer arrived yesterday. Well worth the wait!
Behind it is my RYM #15 which has been dirtied back to pre-tourist days. The locos are similar boiler length, but #12 has a shorter tender.

Very nice Pete. I’lllook forward to the video.
Put the generator exhaust pipe on, eh?
The bent end faces backwards.

Not always. #12’s generator exhaust currently points forward. The EBT swapped generators, airpumps, and headlights fairly regularly on their locos as maintenance required, so it very likely pointed backwards at one time in history as well. (Mine’s facing backwards, mind you…) Now you just gotta get down and dirty with it…

Later, K
When I get a new cab, it will get suitably dirty. Andy and I cleaned Jim’s track and ran our locos together yesterday. Here’s a pic:

Thank you for putting me right, Mr Strong.
Well, half-right, since, as you point out, your’s is currently facing backwards.
