Durango & Silverton Pictures

I finally got the rest of the film developed from last spring in Silverton / Durango. Here’s pictures of Hermosa. Steel hoppers and a steel flat used for maintenance. Good railroadin’, . . . .

See them at : www.DrBurkholter.com/cf13.html Bottom of the page.

Brrrr…Sure looks cold! Thanks for the pics, interesting rest of the website BTW.
If my wife wasn’t so against guns I’d have a couple western black powder jobs myself, 1st on the list would be a '58 Remington revolving carbine and a '60 Spencer repeater carbine. Oh well, maybe one day.

Thanks for the pics, Eric!
Or would you like to be called “Doc.”
Narrow Gauge Lover is just too long, and too formal!

John

It really wasn’t cold at all. Warm sun, . . snow dripping off everywhere. Shirt sleave weather ( with a warm shirt that is ). John, . . How about calling me NG-lover ? . . . seems appropriate for a train forum. Victor, . . I love the '58 Remingtons. Just bought two more so I have a pair of 'em in brass frames and a pair in steel frames. The Spencers were a great design. And the originals are affordable and can be converted to modern center fire ammunition.

Good railroadin’, . . .
