To make it a tad more realistic you need a bullet hole in the winda.
tac
It has “lexan” windows…LOL…Just like they use in the liquor stores in LA…
Whats that mean, “Their Bullet Proof”? BTW great looking model!! Did you scratch build it of kit bash it?
Huntington as in Huntington Beach area?
Chuck
Huntington Beach. It was a junk box find by my brother from some guy in the desert. Took it all apart, removed window glass. Front was glue damaged so I put some siding up, added the little L extension and bashed the rest. Solar cell on extension roof with lighted interior. Gonna make some metal window bar decals and put on inside to a little more detail. Windows are now really made out of 1/8" plexiglas…
standing in line behind Tac, waiting for Grand Opening
looks great, my kinda place
Get the security grills on the windows! Especially if it is downtown.
nice looking building…
Thanks to all for the compliments. I have only been into this for about 5 months. Had time on my hands and my brother “nudged” me into building some things and I sort of got carried away. Three bay Engine House with Yogi Wallace style Coreplas roll-up doors, Forest Fire Look out Tower modeled from actual USFS drawings, a Coreplas tilt-up style building called JTMs Hot Rod Shop Vintage Vehicles, a re-worked Piko Dan’s Hamburgers made in to Wolfie’s Frozen Custard Shoppe. Got a couple giant ones in the process and plans for more. I will upload some pictures soon. BTW, I entered 2011 Challenge with Black Dog’s Provisions Track Shed and got honorable mention. That was my first foray into this.
I found a truck for your Gun Store… Cabela’s Dodge W300 (only fitting) comes complete with dog, gun case and camping gear in the back.

That will work.
Found one of these online for sale that says it’s 1:30 scale … and they have a 1968 Chevy pickup this year in 1:24.
Too bad, really … closer to 1:20, and that power wagon would be a “gotta have.”
