Downsizing / Repackaging a 2-Stick 2.4 GHx Transmitter

I ran the AR6100 / RailBoss today on my layout. Performance is flawless. No different than the AR500 or AR6110. Even though the AR6100 and AR6110 are considered “park flyer” receivers (usually meaning they have less than “full” range), they work great (100 ft plus, behind rocks, etc.).

Another important parameter is link time. The AR6100 links to the Tx in about 2 to 5 secs (same as the other Spektrum receivers).

So for those of you needing Spektrum receivers, I’d say you ought to buy a bunch of these older AR6100s before the supply dries up.

Cool Del. I haven't had the time to bench test mine. Glad to know the DX5e works with them. Which output is non functional - Gear or Aux 1 ?
Gear works with the "Gear" switch. Aux 1 is the 6th channel not accessible from the DX5e.
Thanks Del
