I won this on ebay (another discussion with the wife - "You didn’t win it, you bought it!). The fella said he knew someone whose Father had worked on the railroad, and he wanted to own a model railroad, but could never afford it. So now he’s an artist who creates train things from stuff he finds. This puicture (I hope) shows what I started with. No trucks, no railings, it looked like it had been dropped on one end! The durn thing weighed about 5 pounds, don’t know what he made the tank out of, but I 'spect it’s a spent uranium rod. Will post progress. Lou
Well ?
Better use some ball bearing trucks, being that heavy.
Uh, uh, uh.
Just haven’t had time to work on it (Liar).
OK, I will get it out in the daylight this weekend for a photo op. I would like to get a little more weathering on it, maybe tomorrow night. I need to get down & dirty!
Yes, Jerry, I had a set of trucks I bought a few years ago, and finally found a use for them!
Here’s what you’ve been waiting for! After I went out and took pictures of the finished product, I erased them all from the camera. So I schlepped back out and did it again. Here they are for your enjoyment and comment.

That’s really neat. I love the shorty tank cars, always been one of my favorites.
Looks like that worked out well for you Lou. Oh, and nice pics
Maybe it’s made out of GOLD!
Your rich!!!
