Need some parts?

Ridge Road Station is discontinuing Ozark Miniatures parts and selling off their stock.

Might be a chance to pick up some good deals.

I was wondering why they did not have much in stock the past few months.

How do I know what scale they are? I see GN15 listed separately, but the “Miniatures” don’t list what scale they are.

I could use to stock up on some 1:20 parts.

most of Ozark is listed as 1:22.5/24 but would work for 1:20. best to cross reference parts at www.ozarkminiatures.com

Good point. I wish they had scale listed. I had ordered some glad hands from them some long time ago…and ended up with 7/8 scale parts.

I would like to see a ruler in each picture…

I THINK I got the last of a couple steam whistles (it would only let me order one of each) I spent too much, but most of it I needed

That’s a bummer. I loved going in there and just looking at all the parts. There’s nothing like that to get the creative juices flowing. Fortunately, Caboose has an even broader selection, so I’m still in clover. Here’s hoping they don’t cut back.

Well, I put in an order for $50 worth for upcoming projects. Could have spent more but you have to set limits.

I’d order pretty soon. I was at RRS last week and the stock has some holes in it. There are still a lot of parts left but not a lot of each number.

Found out how to tell scale. From the Ozark catalog…

Part # 0-999 “G” Scale - 1:24 / 1:22 / 1:20

Part # 1xxxx “F” Scale 1:20.3

Part # 3xxxx “Gn15” Scale

Part # 4xxxx “7/8n2” Scale

Part # 6xxxx Std Gauge 1:29 / 1:32

The old part numbers, like OM-10120 listed on some plans are no longer used. That particular part is now SKU # 1015.

Going to place an order now.

As usual, I waited too long. Most of what I need is gone. A quick look at the Ozark site shows the prices are higher than Ridge Road’s pre-sale price :frowning:
Oh well.
