dwarf alberta spruce! planted 11 of them for the layout convention tour summer '02…had to move so they came with…but not before i lost 6 of them (i think it was the drought that did them in but not 100%)…however, in order to transport them, i just dug them up and placed them in tall kitchen can garbage bags, brought them to the new place, put them, bags and all, in the backyard next to the house…3 months later, the 5 are doing splendedly!!! :^) they are not in a pot, they are not in the ground…just the dirt that came with them when i bought them…I highly recommend thes as they are reasonably in-expensive and plentiful in the spring/summer, and add tremendously to any layouts theme, no matter the time period you are trying to represent…maybe not the location, but the period…
