Large Scale Central

Deep and Crisp * (not so) even

Hi, We have had a visitation of the 'orrible white stuff, otherwise known as snow: - and I had my wife’s camera out on the hamlet of Sycamore Creek - here are some of the results.

One side of my ‘one horse’ town - a better description would be one street; as there is no room for another one.

The other side with a flash brightening things up - it was a bit late - the big white blobs are the falling snow!

my small set of buildings for the MOW crews

A final one - no trains today we are all snowed up! Now at the time of writing most of it has gone, leaving us with the ‘cold’ but not the snow - being Britain as least we can now get around more easily. Enjoy! Yours Peter.

I should hit myself for saying this, but I’m really missing the snow this year. I don’t want a lot, just enough to get some trains out in it  This looked like a perfect “scale” snowfall. Looks deep, but not too deep.

I love the buildings with snow. Thats the main reason why keep mine out year round. Im with you Jon. I could use a little more snow.

You can have ours -- along with the ice under it, over it, mixed in with it ...

Hehe! Ever notice how absolutely beautiful and serene a good snowscape is when it falls on someone else’s world?

Wonderful photos Peter! Your village looks superb! All you need now is to build a couple of horse drawn sleighs.
