Don’t ever forget it or those who died…
Amen!
on dec 6th, i rode the 13th annual Pearl Harbor train from Los Angeles to San Diego with two lounge cars, one dome and a chair car attached to the Pacific Surfliner. While the train made two roundtrips hauling approx 500 passengers, we went down on the morning train and came back on the last one. In addition to the WWII Veterans on board, many others wore period appropriate attire and uniforms. It was a good time had by all.
I forgot to mention that I reallized my hair needed a trim, so after departing San Diego, I opted for a haircut at track speed on the Overland Trail.

My father was in WW II. I’m glad that Americans venerate this day. Hope they never forget. I read somewhere that about 1000 military from WW II die every day. Pretty soon, there wont be any left. If they were 18 in 1941, they’d be 93+ today.
Dick, yes those veterans are dying off pretty quickly now. My grandfather was in WWII, and he passed back in the late 1970’s
