Dear Abby,

    I am a crack dealer in Beaumont , Texas who has recently been diagnosed 
    as a carrier of HIV virus. My parents live in Fort Worth .
    One of my sisters lives in Pflugerville and is married to a transvestite. 
    
    My father and mother have recently been arrested for growing and 
    selling marijuana. They are financially dependent on my other two 
    sisters, who are prostitutes in Dallas. 
    
    I have two brothers: one is currently serving a non-parole life 
    sentence at Huntsville for the murder of a teenage boy in 1994. 
    My other brother is currently in jail awaiting charges of sexual 
    misconduct with his three children. 
    
    I have recently become engaged to marry a former prostitute who
    lives in Longview . She is a part time "working girl". 
    
    All things considered, my problem is this. I love my fiancé 
    and look forward to bringing her into the family. I certainly want to be
    totally open and honest with her. 
    
    Should I tell her about my cousin who supports Hillary Clinton 
    for President?

Dear “Worried About My Reputation”,

I wouldn’t worry too much about your cousin. Every family has one member that can’t live up to family expectations. I’m sure your fiancé will be very understanding. She sounds like the type of girl that could easily become a loyal member of your family and an asset to the upcoming Republican Presidential campaign.

News Flash: The whole family changed over to the Democratic Party. They want ali Obama as Grand Mullah (President), so he can get his brothers to bring in Opium from Afhghanistan.

Aren’t we lucky that during the Republican era Afghanistan has been turned into a peaceful land of milk and honey where green butterflies cohabit peacefully with pink elephants and colourful dreams fill the air with their fragrant blossoms … sorry. The opium is all gone. Mmmmm.

The former Taliban gubmit was despicable. Their one and only good point was the (more or less) elimination of the opium trade.

Or are you saying that Republicans are a bunch of murdering child molesting drug addicted sexual deviants?

Or maybe I shouldn’t have a large glass of scotch just before bedtime.

I wouldn't say all Republicans are that...just the ones that use the Religious Right as a cloak to hide their misdeeds behind.

I’ll say it again. The resurrection of the opium trade in Afghanistan is a fairly direct result of western intervention lead by the US, which is lead by the Republican Party. Why are you involving the Democrats in this?

These political rants of yours would be interesting if they were based on reasoning and evidence. But they’re not. They are just mindless jibes at your political opponents based on world events that are clearly beyond your knowledge.

Sorry to be blunt, but mindless political ranting tends to bring out the worst in me.

As the politicos in the current system jockey to be the furthest left or right, it makes me wonder whether we might not need a new party to represent the center. Moderates in both parties seem to be getting run over by big lobbies, and the radical fringe

Afghistan has raised Opium for centuries…in the 1980s they used the money from it’s sale to buy weapons to fight the Russians (and they are not Democrat or Republican)…and now they are using it to fight us.

Maybe the world events are beyond your knowledge but not mine…I’m fully employed in the involvement.

While I agree with you in part, I really think we need to clean house and start all over...without the Democrats or Republicans. Ultra conservatives and ultra liberals are 2 peas out of the same pod, and the so called moderates are nothing more than fence walkers that flipflop back and forth depending on where the votes (and the money) are.
