Davenport-style gas-mechanical in 7/8

I wanted a Davenport-style gas-mechanical in 7/8 so have started cutting styrene…

A bit of construction info and a bunch more photos on Facebook (you don’t need to be a member to view) https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.3666108444588.2148849.1031079018&type=3&l=b30cc90c2d

And here I was getting ready to enjoy your magic once again. But, I don’t do facebook so I’ll have to hope for later pics of the project :frowning:

Dave, that Facebook link is public, you don't need to be a subscriber to see the pix.

Nice work so far.

Looking good Phil

Looking real good, Phil. Great to see you posting again. I have posted a “dirty” picture of my “out of the box” Davenport below. (Well, the "dirty part really involves several puns - so here goes. North American railroaders do not couple and uncouple cars; they “tie” and “cut” cars. And another use for the word “hooker” is a slang term for a woman employed in the “oldest profession.” Also folks used to call a sofa a “Davenport.” So the photo below shows a Hooker “tied” to a Davenport. It’s kinda’ kinky to me, at least.)

Best wishes on your project, David Meashey
