FRIENDS COUNTRYMEN , LEND ME YOUR EARS…

-In our lifetimes we won’t see talent like this again.

-So many, many, people thought Bob Hope was just a comedian. This will open some eyes about him.

-Some doubters actually thought Jimmy Cagney, other than in his movie “Yankee Doodle Dandy”, was a real, bona fide gangster. Years ago when he was at Warner Brothers, there were real threats on his life. In truth and off-camera he was quite a comedian.

-Whatever your own thoughts and ideas are, sit back and enjoy this. It’s a great way to begin a day. Or end it.

Jeeze… I thought this was for reviews of train products, not reviews of movies. How about confining this to “other hobbies”?

What you probably don’t know is that when Cagney filmed that sequence he was suffering from arthritis, and was in alot of pain and almost did not get through that scene. “mind it is a terrible thing to waste, mine is still like a steel trap” LOL

Yep, hilarious misunderstanding about terms, isn’t it? hehehe OTOH reading one or two of the actual reviews may point one in the right direction, eh?!?
Reminds me of that little slip up in the “Prototype” section, you just never know what was meant by the definition of a certain forum unless you read the “explanatory text”.

Back to cooking dinner, we’re having Penne Arrabiata with Italian Sausages and Zucchini à la Mueller. Review: Pretty spicy, but far from Blue! :stuck_out_tongue:

Greg.

There are some “envelopes” that just have to be tested.

Lighten up, just a little bit men. You gotta have a sense of humor. Nobody gets out of life alive. Sheech?!

This thread does not even come close to belonging on this forum, and you already have po’d the owner of the whole shebang.

There is no reason you could not have posted it somewhere that has nothing to do with trains.

So, it’s just a matter of courtesy to the owner and fellow forum readers.

Greg

This listing I think is in good taste even though some may think it is not approrate to post here but of the CRAP that has been posted in the past with bickering etc makes this bit of history a very good improvement in making the site a little more enjoyable.

Some of you have ideas that border into just finding the need to complain no matter what the subject and you know who you are.

You need to take a look at your comments and ideas to see if they are warranted or needed.

Frankly if I had this site I would start to ban some of you unless you changed your ways.

In saying this as I have enjoyed LSC for many many years and most likely have been here longer than
most of you and it has been going down hill for some time now. What are you going to do if Bob pulls the plug?
Go over the MLS and see how long you last there! Or even better, go to LSOL and make it through one day !!!

If you don’t agree, that’s fine with me as I truly don’t give a damn!

I agree that some of the self proclaimed moderators need to lighten up.
As Ric says…“Life is good”. Some of you still fail to understand the concept.
Ralph

Ralf, life in these parts is indeed good. So good that there’s very little mental muddling of different term designations, but we all have our problems.

HK,
Life is full of anomolies, including those who take pleasure in causing others grief.
Some witty, others not.
Ralph

Ralph,

I look at them as interesting little wrinkles, if/when they get too large, they get ironed out.

BTW did you test run your new yard?
