Well, the daffodils I planted in the front yard last fall, with some effort, have started to bloom cheerfully, and the tulips appear to be following. The lilac bush by the front door appears to be about to blossom for the first time ever (and it has been in there for many years).
The winds that blew over Fred’s tree (and may others around the city) seem to have missed us, apart from the garbage cans – but they blow over in any sort of breeze.
And we finally have a dry, warm weekend in the forecast …
