Da AV pages... a library of mangles

I’ve had a couple people ask me about old projects lately. Some abandoned, some mostly forgotten, a few probably for sale for the right money… So, since I had no money of my own to go gallivanting this weekend anyway, I started making up some simple web pages where all of this stuff could be archived and viewed at leisure before it got lost… besides, maybe now I can clean some of it off my hard drive! No, I’m not posting these to “blow my own whistle”, but to hopefully inspire others to try to build things for themselves. Most of these were so easy that even I could do them! lol The Story of the Railroad itself:

Thanks for the very informative AVRR “LGB 2017” modifications, as well as the AVRR Mallett, made from the 2017’s, Excellent! A fine outdoor railroad,
from the indoor railroad. Well done. Keep up the good work & the very informative, encouraging articles!

Hi Mik,

I guess you know it has been raining here in England for the last two days halting train running. Your list of projects make interesting reading indeed. especially om wet days. lol

Whilst I might not want to copy any particular item there are many ‘features’ of interest to be noted in the links.

Allen… What a creative way you’ve worked up the early steam tractors and other models that would work with them. Very, very nice.

Thanks for posting the “history”.

Ed, Alan, Stan. Thank you for the kind words. And few more to keep you amused. Railfanning the AV - more recent pictures

Great stuff Mik. I love the AV Hauling those log cars. I cant wait to see the AV in the snow.

Snow?.. Don’t say that word. We need to find money to get the furnace fixed first

Just to let folks know, there have been a bunch of updates, and I added a guestbook

The Flour City tractor is still one of my favorites and on my to do list.

hey, Mik!

might be a good idea, to save the things you got in my forum as well.
i got the bad feeling, that the provider will close shop sooner or later.
he doesn’t even bother to put up advertising anymore…
i at least do transfer my pics and texts to a paid space. (in my own turtle speed)
