CVSRy boxcar arrives on the J&B RR

I finally got around to finishing another wood covered acrylic boxcar. This time, I got a chance to try out Jon’s new herald. It’s a bit dark out, but I was able to get a shot:

Bruce, where did you find the scribed wood and how thick is it? I need to finish the cabosse for the same basic material (acrylic) and maybe from the same source.

paul

Paul, I got mine from Micro-Mark - it’s 1/16" thick. It’s scribed the “wrong” way, so you have to piece it together. I’ve also bought from http://www.northeasternscalelumber.com/ - they have it in 1/32"

Nice look on the car and logo Bruce. You did well on the design Jon

PNG has it too.

Hey -

We don’t hire any undocumented workers on the CVSRy. We hire a legitimate labor broker and HE hires the illegals

Very nice!
