Curved track on a Deck Truss bridge

Randy, Jon, John, Dave, et-all, As for pin nailer I was talking 23 Gage, my 16 and the 18 gage guns I always just called nail guns. But I guess that term falls apart for my framing nailer, which in reality is a small Howitzer. Overide the contact safety and it will shoot a 20p about 50 yds. For pro service you need pro tools with out exception, but $300 for a 23 gage pin nailer? MSRP +30%.

yes Dave I use the 23 gage pin nailer from HF $25. and I’ve had it 4 years. For my use it works great and holds small joints well till the glue dries. If I were using it on a daily basis I’d spring for a better gun. But, $25. for 4 years+, I’ll buy another cheapy for what I do with it.
I also have an 18 gage brad nailer for when I want the nail to hold what I’m building and don’t use glue in the joint.

Got the bents set on the South approach to the bridge, it’s starting to look like i thought it would.

Got the bents made for the North side, but today I’ll work on the water tank.

I haven’t been setting around while the water tank has been on hold. Got the bents in on the North approach to the bridge.

A few minor things left, and Ill be able to get a train over it. Maybe this weekend, if the water tank goes good.

Looking good Dave. That will be a great photo spot.

WOnderful looking Trestle/bridge combo…

Very nice, and should make a great photo spot

NICE!

Nice work, one of the better looking trestles I’ve seen…

Actually got the rail all tied in… Two sets of neighbor kids came over yesterday so I actually got to run a train. Shot handheld with my iPhone.

WELL that didn’t work… It’s should to be a video… :frowning: Still more to do to finnish up the trestle, maybe soon as the water tank gets done.
