The C&TS will run this year on an abreviated schedule due to most of the locos undergoing FRA mandated boiler inspections and repairs. To start the season there will only be one loco running, 487 I believe.
Opening day is June 14th and the season will run until the third week of October. Depending on how many locos are running by then the closing day may vary. Railfan charter Chama Steam II is scheduled for October 23, 24 and 25.
Schedule:
Saturday & Tuesday: train from Chama to Antonito, bus back.
Sunday & Wednesday: train from Antonito to Chama, bus back.
Either of these schedules you can take the bus to the other end and ride the train back. Bus leaves at 8:45, train leaves at 10.

Season pass is $109 + $2 per trip for fire suppression support.
Reservations ARE being taken but any credit card transactions will not be processed until April as the management structure needs to get funding sources, bank accounts, etc. rearranged.
