Following a link I found another derail caught on camera, not as spectacular as Steves but still, you can catch a train derailing but you still cant get beleivable video of Bigfoot
Great video!! Can you imagine what would have happened if they were traveling faster. It really made me think of my son-in-law, he went to work for BNSF as a conductor about 3 months ago. He loves every minute of it.
Wow. It was almost a compound disaster when the car clipped the guy wire on the power pole. If the wires had come down it would have been a whole lot scarier for those rail fans.
I didn’t do it!

On the other hand, it’s a pretty amazing experience to stand a few feet away as a freight train passes at 80mph on a moonless night in the middle of the desert. Just this huge roaring black shadow surrounded by darkness and whipping wind, like a supernatural beast.

They should talk to Fred, he knows how to make them right…
Goes to show ya what happens when you do not keep your mind on the task at hand. Later RJD
A passenger train in Asia somewhere.
Poor track maintenance, I’d say.

Boy, they’re lucky it didn’t derail going over that trestle.
