I just need to find a spot for it on the layout.

Very nice
How would you move it. It’s got to someplace close by or maybe right there.

What sort of crane is needed to lift that thing into place?

Just askin’ :stuck_out_tongue:

Good work.

A BIG "un!!!

I don’t have the answer, but Ive seen panel track used before. Perhaps after all is worked out they break it up into smaller sections to move and install.

Up in Stockton where I’ve walked the tracks for a “look see” each year,… there are two “crossings” laying by the tracks where they have been taken out some years back and just left there. NO worry about anyone “walking off” with them as scrap metal. Just the crossing would take sizable equipment to lift it. Those things are made solid and HEAVY.

These were parts of a ready made 90 degree crossing in Hamlet. Labeled North, South, East & West. The actual crossing itself was one piece, each end also labeled for direction. All bolts together. Ralph
